Our beautiful island, about a mile across, welcomes those who want a simple holiday away from the stress and pollution of the mainland. The sea is crystal clear, ideal for snorkelling and diving, and at night the stars can appear remarkably bright in the clear air.
The recently refurbished camping facilities include good quality toilet facilities, baby changing table, separate shower room with 4 cubicles, washing up room with 3 sinks, laundry room with sink and coin operated washing machine and tumble drier. Transport for luggage and trailers is available from the quay to the site.
- Camping - a series of small fields immediately above the shoreline with stunning views. Recently refurbished modern facilities in a granite building e.g toilets, washbasins, showers, washing machine, tumble drier, hair dryers.
- The Chalet - modern cedar wood building with two bedrooms and sleeps up to 5, set in a very quiet and secluded position.
- The Cottage - a granite building with one bedroom and a sitting room with foldaway bed, sleeps up to 4, set in a quiet location with a spacious lawn.
- The Flat - a self contained wing of the farmhouse, one bedroom, sleeps 2, sea views from the lounge and bedroom.
- All are comfortably furnished and fully equipped with modern kitchen units, electric cookers, refrigerator, microwave, colour TV, radio and hair dryer.
From the quay boats leave every day for the other islands - visit the sub-tropical gardens on Tresco, the empty beaches of St Martin's or see the seals and puffins - the choices are endless.
