Pier House is situated on the entrance of both the harbour and the town. It is reputed to have been built in the 1630's as a fish store for the soldiers at the Garrison and Star Castle.
Pier House, is the first house from the Quay, where boats depart for the off-islands. It is very well placed for all the main island activities, including a variety of cafés, restaurants and pubs, all providing an excellent choice for lunches and evening meals.
Access to rooms is available at all times.
